30th September 2019 – Bushy Park
The cob of the pair on the Leg of Mutton pond has been having a rough time of it recently. He has not yet learned to stay away from the fishermen and has been caught up in tackle a few times. Consequently he is not easy to catch knowing what our rescuers look like. The last time he had two hooks, one in his beak and one in his neck. Sally eventually managed to catch up with him when he was in the little canal off the pond.
