Oil Spill Progress

23rd February 2022 – Shepperton

The birds from the pollution incident on the River Medway in Kent have now been fully cleaned and have recovered most of their waterproofing and so have been moved from the Oil Spill Unit and marched down to the secure lake out in the woods at the Swan Sanctuary. We are hoping they can go back soon but are waiting for the all clear that they are no longer at risk of contamination on the river. The is a link here showing them moving into there new home.
